Cape Bernier 2011 Blanc de Blancs

Elegance & Finesse

2011 was a good year for Chardonnay at Cape Bernier and some of the very best grapes went into the 100% Chardonnay Blanc de Blanc. Combine this with a site that is somewhat cooler than most sites in Tasmania though also frost free due to the natural features of the local terrain and moderating effects the sea make for ideal sparkling wine growing conditions all wrapped up in this delicious Blanc de Blanc.

Fine bubbles, a creamy texture and crisp acidity showcasing cool climate chardonnay green apple fruit create a wine of elegance and finesse. Drink now or over the next 10 years.

Toast to the stars

The 2012 Cuvée Brut is a 70/30 blend of Chardonnay and Pinot Noir. It is a deliciously crisp sparkling that required minimal dosage and is almost on the verge of being an Extra Brut sparkling (<6g/L dosage). It combines the very fine 2012 Chardonnay from the Cape Bernier vineyard along with some extra subtlety introduced by the Pinot Noir.
